Talk about our craft

Cowhide manual dyeing
For the ancient method of coloring, milk vegetable-tanned calf leather aged 3 to 5 months was used, because the pores of the cowhide at this time were just opened, and the absorbency and permeability were just right.
When the selected cowhide and mature craftsmen are available, it will take a long time to see the finished product.Ancient dyeing requires the master to dye the skin hundreds of times from different angles and strengths, and finally it can form the desired effect.
Repeated staining

And every time you dye, you have to wait for it to air dry before you can continue dyeing. According to the changes in temperature and humidity in different seasons, it takes an average of 5 days to complete the coloring of the cowhide. It takes more than 300 hours for a master to finish an ancient dyed leather goods.
The ancient dyeing process was originally inspired by the tie-dye art inherited from the past ten years. Originating in the middle and late 19th century, it was popular in the high society of Europe. The painted surface will appear like the landscape ink painting pattern and color.

Although the ancient coloring process has been passed down for more than 100 years, after the industrial revolution to the current mass production of machines has become mainstream, the ancient coloring process takes a long time and can only be hand-crafted by craftsmen, which is impossible for any machine. Replacement. We are one of the few workshops that can stick to traditional craftsmanship and ancient methods. No matter how difficult, we will continue to do it.
